After a month of back-and-forth with local activists, Alhambra City Council settled on an altered version of a community resolution that called for city police to verify Immigration and Customs Enforcement activity.

The council unanimously approved on July 28 the new resolution titled “Alhambra Condemns Aggressive and Non-Transparent Federal Immigration and Enforcement Tactics,” with multiple key changes to the one submitted by community members earlier that month on July 7.
