A woman was shot and killed by a neighbor Thursday before responding Pennsylvania state troopers were ambushed by gunfire, police said.

Lori Wasko’s boyfriend called 911 after 11 a.m. Thursday to report shots fired, state police said. Wasko, 57, was shot and killed outside her home near her vehicle, police said.

A man who ambushed and shot two Pennsylvania state troopers Thursday died and the troopers were hospitalized, officials said.
