BROWNSVILLE, Texas (ValleyCentral) — The Brownsville Metro is asking for public input on four newly proposed route realignments.
The proposed plan aims to improve safety, efficiency, and timeliness on busier bus routes. • Route 3: Boca Chica Boulevard • Route 5: Paredes Line Road/Alton Gloor Boulevard • Route 11: Old Port Isabel Road • Route 14: Scorpion Connect/Downtown Terminal
"We get reports, and we notice that those routes do tend to be running a bit late," said Simon Ortiz, Brownsville Metro Transit Manager. "We feel that this will improve the on-time performance."
Brownsville Metro leaders will host two public meetings to get public input on the proposed routes.
The first meeting will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 14, at the Main Library Branch, 2600 Central
