BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WIAT) -- Avryia Holmes has coached the McAdory Yellow Jackets to four-consecutive playoff appearances.

He felt slippage going on though, guys not being totally there. He had to reevaluate what he was doing, as well as his staff for 2025.

"I wanted to put them in high pressure situations over the offseason that's going to hopefully teach them some lessons as we head into fall season. The summer was really tough, spring was really tough, we coached them hard. We changed up a lot of the philosophies and how we do stuff at practice and I think the kids responded really well," said Holmes
