NORTHAMPTON, Mass. (WWLP) - A stray dog found in Northampton, who was named Puddles by animal control, has since been adopted by a loving family in Vermont, who they call Buddy.

Northampton animal control found Puddles, a Boston Terrier, near the intersection of Easthampton Road and Earle Street on May 5th. They said that he was about five years old and wasn't neutered or chipped.

Pictures of him were shared on social media the next day, seeking his owner however, they were not located. Puddles received medical treatment and was placed into foster care. Northeast Boston Terrier Rescue (NEBTR) shared updates on Puddles, who was renamed Buddy. They say that he was found curled up in a puddle on the doorstep of a business.
