Northampton nurses bond over daughters being born on same day

NORTHAMPTON, Mass. (WWLP) - Two local nurses who spend a lot of time in the delivery room delivered their daughters on the same day.

Sandra and Arlenis both work at the Cooley Dickinson Hospital childbirth center in Northampton. They just happened to have the same due date and delivered their baby girls on July 30th.

Not only do they spend their work days together, but now, their children will get to share an even more unique bond. Arlenis Baez Williams shared with 22News, "We would call each other after our appointments, vent about our frustrations about being pregnant, remind ourselves to snack, and ask each other about any symptoms we may be experiencing and share some tips and tricks."

Arlenis is now a mother of three. She says having a village to lean on is what keeps her going.
