The Tigers' recent losing streak — 12 losses in 13 games — made fans jittery. But sage voices continually warned that slumps happen to even the best teams. Then the team started winning again.

However, the past two losses to the lowly Minnesota Twins — the latest being Wednesday's 9-4 defeat at Comerica Park — are starting to worry even the most confident fans. They've now lost 16 of their last 23 games.

In fact, Tigers manager A.J. Hinch is none too happy, particularly considering the Tigers are now only six games ahead of the second-place Cleveland Guardians.
