BANGOR, Maine (WABI) - The Bangor Region Chamber of Commerce and Ellsworth Chamber of Commerce teamed up for a special event Thursday.

Both groups host monthly ‘Business After Hours’ events that give people an opportunity to network and connect.

This month, they collaborated to host a Passport night.

Chamber members were invited to travel to each suite at the Cross Insurance Center and have their passports stamped.

By partnering up for this event, chamber members were able to make more connections with people in different areas.

“They get to meet new businesses, they get to mix and mingle, enjoy some of the Cross Insurance Center’s food and it really makes them move around more than business after hours normally is and just meet new people,” said Sam Spargo, the Director of Marketing
