LAKE HAVASU, AZ (AZFamily) — A Lake Havasu woman is in good health and living life but her bank, Medicare and others officially declared her dead and it’s causing huge problems.

In March, Donna Howard got a letter from her prescription plan offering condolences on her death and letting her know her coverage was being cut off.

“I just went silent trying to comprehend what they were really saying,” she said. “And then I got mad.”

Howard said it all started at Henderson Hospital , just outside of Las Vegas. A woman was taken to the hospital for medical treatment and died a month later.

Somehow, that woman became listed in the hospital records as Donna Howard, but Howard from Lake Havasu said she’s never even been to Henderson Hospital.
