LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — More than 30 pounds of methamphetamine, 28 guns and 26 40mm grenades were recovered as 15 people were arrested in a nine-month undercover investigation of drug and firearms trafficking centered in Mohave County, Arizona.
The Mohave County Sheriff's Office on Thursday announced the results of "Operation Mohave Typewriter," detailing the arrests involving the FBI, ATF and several local law enforcement agencies.
Eight Golden Valley residents were arrested and charged, along with four people from Kingman, two from Chloride and one Calexico, California resident.
In addition to 32.5 pounds of meth, officers seized one gram of fentanyl powder and one ghost gun. Three of the weapons seized were fully automatic and four were reported stolen.
