OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) - Merritt Beason is coming back to the Cornhusker State.
The former Nebraska All-American signed with the Omaha Supernovas Thursday evening, the team announced.
The 22-year-old played her rookie season with the Atlanta Vibe, amassing 191 kills and 16 service aces and earning an All-Star nod.
Beason becomes the first signing for John Cook. The Nebraska volleyball legend joined the Supernovas as general manager and co-owner Wednesday.
