LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) - Nebraska Athletic Director Troy Dannen met with the media Friday morning to provide updates on the Memorial Stadium renovation project and field questions ahead of the fall sports season.

Dannen said the stadium project will not be brought to the Board of Regents for approval anytime soon.

“This week the chancellor sent a note out about the structural integrity of the university... the President has spoken about some of the system-wide financial issues. There is going to be a lot of trauma ahead, we are not going to take anything to the board (of regents) for their approval and I don’t when we will, but the time is not now,” Troy Dannen said.
