TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — At tonight's Terre Haute City Council meeting, a brief report was given about revisions that would be proposed for the Historic Preservation Ordinance.
The ordinance would allow a commission to give recommendations to the city council about individual sites or historic districts.
There would then be a vote to determine if they should move forward with those recommendations. The council will accept public comments on the proposed ordinance.
Also tonight, there was discussion about the two proposed tax increment finance districts, for some apartments, and multifamily homes. Those will not be built because the petitions were withdrawn.
