MANCHESTER, N.H. —

Little leaguers from Bedford, New Hampshire, faced off against Braintree, Massachusetts, in the New England regional championship Thursday.

The game went into extra innings after Bedford's second baseman, Ryan Colby, tied it 2-2.

In the bottom of the eighth inning, with the bases loaded and one out, a wild pitch allowed the winning run to score, giving Braintree a 3-2 victory.

Braintree claimed the regional title and will advance to the 2025 Little League World Series in Williamsport, Pennsylvania.
