A Jefferson City home sustained smoke damage on all levels in a fire on Thursday.

Firefighters responded to a report of smoke at a residence in the 2400 Block of Bluebird Drive around 3:26 p.m., according to the Jefferson City Fire Department.

First responders reportedly found and extinguished a fire in a basement closet. There was also light smoke present on the basement level of a split foyer residential dwelling.

All occupants of the home were outside of the structure by the time firefighters were at the scene, and no one was injured in the incident, according to the Fire Department.

Jefferson City firefighters said the fire was deemed an accident.
