COLUMBUS, Ohio — Whitehall's Thursday Night Thrillers event returned Thursday night after a two-week hiatus, implementing some security adjustments. This comes after fights between juveniles broke out outside of the event during the program's July debut when nearly 4,000 people attended the youth basketball league and giveaway event.

The popular program was put on pause for a couple weeks after three separate fights occurred outside the event near the basketball courts during the first event, resulting in five juveniles being charged with disorderly conduct.

"We learned a lot from that event. We've applied a lot of that to this event," said Whitehall Police Lt. Tanner Williams.
