LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — A busy Little Rock street has been raising safety concerns for people in the Capitol View Stifft Station neighborhood.

The area of concern is around the same area of Markham Street that we previously reported on. Luckily, it has some changes on the way, hoping to address some of those worries.

Although city officials originally told us the construction in the area was supposed to start in late 2024, it still hasn't.

Ashley Gramza lives in the Stifft Station neighborhood and explained that she sees cars speeding past her every day when walking on 3rd Street near the Arkansas State Capitol.

"It's really scary for myself, the kids, and the dogs, and it's just not safe," Gramza described.

She said one of her concerns is cars going over the speed limit.
