FARGO — The Fargo Moorhead RedHawks combined timely hitting with solid pitching in a 7-2 win over the Lincoln Saltdogs in American Association series finale Thursday at Newman Outdoor Field.

RedHawks have won 11 of their last 12 games. RedHawks starter Jake Dykhoff threw 6-1/3 innings, allowing no earned runs on two hits with seven strikeouts.

"Great performance by (Dykhoff)," RedHawks manager Chris Coste said in his postgame radio interview.

Fargo-Moorhead left fielder Dillon Thomas barreled a two-run home run in the first inning. Lincoln tied the score at 1-1 on a fielder's choice in the second inning.

Fargo-Moorhead (45-33) started a scoring surge in the fourth inning. Alec Olund and Aidan Byrne hit RBI singles to make it 4-1.
