HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - The Little League World Series (LLWS) begins this month, and the Honolulu Little League is looking to make another title-winning run.
On Thursday, the club run by Gerald Oda won the West Regionals in San Bernardino, California, defeating Southern California 4-1.
Now they’re headed to Williamsport, Pennsylvania, for a third LLWS appearance in seven years.
It’s a journey that’s already seen some drama when they pulled out a thrilling 2-0 victory to win a state championship this month on Hawaii Island.
Oda said each team takes on its own unique identity.
