GARRISON, Texas (KTRE) - The Garrison Bulldogs are back to the field for 2025 after falling to the Waskom Wildcats in the area round of the playoffs last season.

And the Bulldogs will have a chance at some early-season revenge over the Wildcats in 2025.

Garrison getting set to host Waskom week one on Aug, 28th.

But that’s only the start of a tough non-district slate for Head Coach Brandon Alvarez’s squad.

Three 3A teams are on the schedule, whilst also taking on Lovelady alongside Waskom.

‘Our non-distrcit schedule is brutal," Alvarez said. “But that’s good because as long as you can survive a brutal non-district schedule, you’re better off for it,”.

But things won’t get any easier come district play for Garrison.
