DECATUR COUNTY, Indiana — Police in Decatur County say a suspect in a Tuesday homicide has been arrested.

According to a press release from the Decatur County Sheriff's Department, officers were asked to do a welfare check at a home in the 3300 block of South County Road 60 Southwest .

When officers arrived, they were met in the driveway by 28-year-old Wyatt J. Taylor. Police told Wyatt they had been requested to check the well-being of Joshua Mark Taylor, 50, Wyatt's father, who lived at the address. Wyatt told the officers that Joshua was asleep, led them into a first-floor bedroom at the home and said, "He's right there."

According to a probable cause affidavit, the officers "found Joshua Taylor to be deceased, noting head and neck gunshot wounds. They also noted multiple spent bulle
