A Chicora man was sentenced to probation and ordered to register with state police for 15 years as a Megan’s Law offender on Thursday, April 7, after pleading guilty to having inappropriate contact with a 16-year-old girl in 2022.
Theodore S. Weniger, 42, was sentenced to concurrently serve two 15 to 60 month sentences in jail, but was paroled with credit for having served 520 days in the Butler County Prison, and fined $1,000 after pleading guilty to felony charges of corruption of minors and endangering the welfare of children. He was ordered to have no contact with the victim, who did not attend the sentencing hearing.
