TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) - The Leon Lions are set to roar on East Tennessee Street under new management in 2025. Ricky Bell returns to coaching, and so far through camp he’s looking for more physicality in the trenches.

Still, there’s plenty of experience at the skill positions which Big Red is hoping will add up to plenty of points this fall.

“Our skill positions are pretty good. We’ve got some good wide receivers,” said Bell of his roster. “Jeremiah Lalanne returns, he’s a returning wide receiver and defensive back, our senior quarterback Brooks Womack is coming back, we have a good kicker in AJ Winn and Brice Cameron who’s a senior, he’s a kick returner and a receiver.”

Leon opens the regular season on Thursday, August 21st hosting Wakulla at Gene Cox Stadium.
