LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) - For the 49th time, the Greater Lansing Sports Hall of Fame celebrated former athletes, coaches, and teams from the area.

On Thursday at the Lansing Center, the Class of 2025 was inducted into the hall of fame. The class features two teams and eight athletes.

Here are the inductees, who were honored for their accomplishments in the Greater Lansing area.

Lauren K. Aitch - Lansing Waverly: The captain of the Class A girls basketball state championship team. A captain of the Michigan State women's basketball team in the 2009-10 season. 6th man of the year in 2008 and 2009, and co-Big Ten champion in 2009.

Jack Anderson - Portland: The softball coach from 1979-2019 and recorded 977 wins at the varsity level. Won 23 conference championships, 13 district championships,
