NORFOLK, Va. — The Granby Comets have weathered their share of tough seasons in recent years, but 2024 was a year to remember. The Comets put together an impressive 9-2 record, highlighted by statement wins over Kecoughtan, Lake Taylor, and Norcom. That strong regular-season performance earned them a spot in the playoffs — a feat that energized the program and its supporters.
"Watch us," says head coach Kendal Jefferson who's entering his third year at the school. "Watch us work. Keep watching us, because I know they're watching us anyway...when people are watching you, then you're doing something."
