Highs stay in the low 80s on Friday and mostly cloudy skies will be overhead. Strong to severe storms are expected to fire up in eastern Minnesota in the evening and move west overnight. As they move west, they will weaken but still bring some thunder and lightning, along with heavy rain possible to the Duluth area by late night.

Saturday sees the rain move out, then cloudy skies the rest of the day. We continue highs in the low 80s this weekend, but the sunshine returns as we go into Sunday.
