DULUTH, Minn. (Northern News Now) - A health survey will be arriving in thousands of mailboxes across the Northland in coming weeks, and organizers say a lot depends on people taking the time to fill it out.

Since 1995, the Bridge to Health Survey has captured data, which has been used by organizations to help shape the health of the Northland.

Jessie Peterson is the executive director of Generations Health Care Initiatives, the organization behind the survey.

She said while questions on the Bridge to Health Survey range in topic from chronic medical conditions to internet access, there’s one that unites them all.

“How healthy is the Northland?” said Peterson. “And the Bridge to Health Survey really sets about being able to answer that.”
