Alabama’s fastest-growing sport had some of the top athletes recognized among the nation’s best this week.

Seven high school flag football players from the state were among the top 100 to watch for the 2025 season from MaxPreps.

Among those honored were Central-Phenix City duo Mariah Harrison (No. 7) and Colby Cook (No. 26), Alma Bryant twin sisters Mari-Margret (No. 36) and Madi-Mari Grayson (No. 73), Prattville star Lanieya Page (No. 20) and Daphne three-sport standout Abby Johnson (No. 52).
