Alicia Silverstone is giving a brief update on Peacock ’s forthcoming Clueless series.

During a Thursday appearance on TODAY , the actress was asked what she could tease about the followup TV show. “Not much,” she quipped, before sharing her hopes for the project as a whole.

“I’m really excited about it,” Silverstone said. “I think we’re going to try really hard. The goal is to make it honor what everyone loves about Clueless and Cher.”

The Irish Blood star is set to reprise her role as the famed Cher Horowitz from the original 1995 film . Silverstone further assured that the new Peacock series will “honor” its predecessor.
