An Old Trafford apartment where neighbours were subjected to visitors throwing dog faeces from balconies and stealing parcels has been shut down.

Trafford council was granted a full closure order for the one-bedroom, third-floor address at King Water Apartments.

Trafford council took civil action under the Anti-Social Behaviour and Policing Act 2014 in a hearing which took place at Manchester Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday (August 5).

Judge Simon Blakebrough was satisfied the property had been the source of disorderly, offensive or criminal behaviour, serious nuisance to members of the public and associated disorder in the immediate area.
