The husband of a Glasgow mum who has gone missing in Greece has revealed he was laughed at when he frantically begged for help.

Chris Bourda, 66, fell asleep on a sun lounger and woke up to find that his 59-year-old wife, Michele Ann Joy Bourda, had vanished. All her belongings were still on the sun lounger, including her towel, but the mother-of-one was nowhere to be seen on Friday afternoon.

Chris' frantic search for his wife in Kavala is ongoing, but when he asked a waiter at a nearby restaurant if he had seen Michele, he was mocked.

He eventually convinced a shopkeeper to help him and call the police, reports The Mirror .
