MARINE CORPS REUNION: The Tri-State Detachment Marine Corps League will host its 45th annual Marine Corps League reunion 6 to 10 p.m. Aug. 16 at A La Cart Catering, 429 Lisbon St., Canfield. The reunion also will celebrate the 250th birthday of the United States Marine Corps.

The event is open to all Marines, their families and all service members who served with or were attached to Marine Corps units. Cost is $35 and includes a buffet-style dinner and an open bar. A special guest speaker from Headquarters Marine Corps will give a short presentation on current issues impacting the Marine Corps along with upcoming changes to the active Marine Corps units attached to the Youngstown Air Reserve Station in Vienna.
