ELMIRA, N.Y. (WENY) -- Chemung County says the Harris Hill Pool will close for the season on Sunday, Aug. 17, at 7 p.m. Season pass holders can still use their passes to access Park Station for the remainder of the summer.

The Park Station waterfront will remain open daily from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. through Labor Day, except from Monday, Aug. 25, through Friday, Aug. 29, when it will be closed due to a lack of lifeguards.

The snack bar at Park Station will keep its noon-to-6 p.m. schedule, and the control booth will remain open daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., both through Labor Day.

County officials say hours could change based on weather or staffing.
