DANIELSON, Conn. (WFSB) - Nearly two years after the murder of a home health care nurse, the man accused in her death is expected to plead guilty in court on Friday.

Michael Reese, who was arrested in connection with the October 2023 killing of 49-year-old Joyce Grayson , will appear before a judge in Danielson Superior Court.

According to Kelly Reardon, the attorney representing Grayson’s family, Reese is expected to enter a guilty plea during the hearing.

Grayson was employed by the Connecticut Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services as a visiting nurse.

On October 28, 2023, she arrived for an appointment at a halfway house on Chapman Street in Willimantic.

Police later discovered her body in the basement of the residence.
