LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. (WYMT) - The Laurel County Sheriff’s Office arrested a man for assault on Aug 4.

It happened off Byerly Road, approximately 9 miles south of London.

Deputies received a call about a possible domestic in progress complaint.

Once arriving at the scene, they learned an argument had occurred and that, reportedly, the man had assaulted the woman there.

Joshua Lee Frith, 42, of Corbin, was arrested and charged with fourth-degree assault. Frith is being held at the Laurel County Correctional Center.
