Two men were shot in front of a motorcycle clubhouse in Newton in June. Police are investigating another local motorcycle club in connection to the shooting.

Police believe the second club has been involved in several disputes with other clubs over the last five years.

On June 8, 32-year-old Jordon Matthew Cassell and 28-year-old Zachary Robert McIntosh were gunned down outside the Outlaws Motorcycle Club House on North Main Avenue in Newton shortly after 2 a.m., Newton Police Chief Vidal Sipe said previously.

McIntosh, of Statesville, survived. Cassell, of Albemarle, died. Sipe said more than 30 rounds were fired during the attack.
