A recent survey has unveiled that nearly one-third of Britons are allowing anxiety about others' opinions to prevent them from chasing their dreams. Two-thirds of people confessed to never taking the plunge and doing something they've always wanted to do, with 65 per cent branding themselves as "risk-averse".

The research, commissioned by Beavertown, discovered that more than half of those questioned long to be more impulsive in life, with many describing themselves as cautious, reserved, or predictable.

It emerged that while 25 per cent feel ‘stuck’ in their daily routine, 45 per cent admit to being creatures of habit.
