Actress Gina Carano has settled her lawsuit against Disney and LucasFilm, funded with the help of billionaire Elon Musk, after she was fired from Star Wars spin-off The Mandalorian for controversial comments.

Former MMA fighter and actress Gina Carano , who portrayed Alderaanian warrior Cara Dune in the Disney+ series, was dropped in 2021 after she faced accusations of antisemitism following a social media post in which she compared being a Republican in the United States to being Jewish during the atrocities of the holocaust.
