Antonio Graham remembers coaching against Tucker Koch.
When Graham was at Owasso, his staff had to put full attention on Koch — the Union linebacker capable of blowing up a play on any given snap.
“He was one of the kids that we made sure we found our protection to him and make sure that when he was out there, we’ve got to do a good job of blocking him,” Graham said.
Now, Graham, Union’s first-year coach, can sit back and watch other coaching staffs scheme against Koch.
Koch, among the 10 linebackers in the preseason All-World contest, is a versatile, heat-seeking missile in the middle for the Redhawks’ defense. In this modernized era of high school football, Koch is an old-school backer, both on the field and the way he goes about his business
