Ex McDonald's employee shares secret to making popular menu item taste 'so much better'

A former McDonald's worker has claimed there is a simple trick that will make two popular menu items taste even better. Jamie Calder, 20, who worked at the fast food chain for just over a year, picked up a few tips and tricks during his time at the restaurant, and now wants customers to take them into consideration when ordering food.

For those partial to chicken nuggets or chicken selects, Jamie says a straightforward request at that can significantly improve their taste.

"The seasoning for the burger patties is incredible on nuggets or chicken selects," he told NeedToKnow.

"If it's quiet enough not to be an annoying request, I would highly recommend [asking for it]."
