Due to an unexpected mechanical issue, the City of Columbus Parks and Recreation Department has announced a delay in the opening of the Aquatic Center. The facility will now open on Monday, Aug. 18.

In the meantime, residents are invited to use the Pawnee Plunge for fitness swim only during the following hours:

Monday through Friday: 8 a.m. to Noon

Monday through Thursday: 4 to 7 p.m.

Note, there will be no open swim hours available during this period due to limited lifeguard availability as many return to school and participate in sports activities.
