LOCKPORT, N.Y. — The Starpoint High School choir showcased their talent at the Erie County Fair, providing vocals for a Rock & Roll Hall of Fame band.

The choir won a contest and earned the opportunity to perform with Foreigner on stage Thursday night at the Erie County Fairgrounds, on the second day of the fair.

Middle and high school choir directors were asked to submit an official entry form and audition video, featuring a performance using one of Foreigner’s songs.

Starpoint won the vote contest back in May, which led to the choir joining Foreigner during a performance of "I Want to Know What Love Is," a power ballad released in November of 1984 that climbed all the way to No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 on Feb. 2, 1985.
