Bleachers were packed, with an additional row of fans in chairs on the concrete right up to the backstop.

Perfect weather for the opening ceremonies for the American Legion Northwest Class A Regional Tournament where the eight teams participating spread out across the infield.

Burley even retired former coach Matt Harr’s No. 10 for his contributions to the high school and legion program.

An “unbelievable” day, Green Sox head coach Devin Kunz told the Times-News .
