Boston police are investigating two separate stabbings that occurred in the city overnight, including one that left a man critically wounded.

According to police, officers responded to a local hospital after receiving a radio call around 2:10 a.m. for a walk-in stabbing victim. Additional officers responded to the area of Reading and Farnham streets in Roxbury, where the stabbing was reported to have occurred, and located a crime scene there.

The 48-year-old victim was said to have suffered a critical stab wound, according to police. His name has not been released.

Detectives are actively investigating what happened in Roxbury, police added, and no arrests have been made at this time.
