ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. – Orange County’s school board members, superintendent, law-enforcement leaders and more are set to be at a back-to-school news conference on Friday.
The event at Dr. Phillips High School is scheduled to begin at 10 a.m.
Families are invited to tune in for important information about safety, transportation tips, updates on school renovations and more, a news release states.
Orange County Superintendent Maria Vazquez will join members of the school board, Orlando police Chief Eric Smith, Orange County Undersheriff Mark Canty and Orange County Public Schools District Police Chief Bryan Holmes, as well as Mark Watson with Food and Nutrition Services, Bill Wen of Transportation and Rory Salimbene from Facilities, according to the release.
