Auburn football practiced Thursday morning ahead of its scrimmage on Friday.
On top of the usual 11-on-11 and 7-on-7 practice periods, Auburn coach Hugh Freeze implemented the redzone lockout drill where we saw 1-on-1 battles between the wide receivers and cornerbacks.
During the extended viewing period granted by Freeze, AL.com focused on observing the cornerbacks and safeties.
