HARRIS COUNTY, Texas (KTRK) -- The Harris County Sheriff's Office says deputies need your help finding the driver responsible for a hit-and-run crash that killed a pregnant woman on Thursday.

Investigators said the deadly crash happened around 7:45 p.m. on Tidwell Road and C E King Parkway in northeast Harris County.

Deputies said the victim was a pregnant woman in her 20s who was driving a red Ford Mustang.

"Please pray for the family," Major A. McConnell said. "They're going to need your support."

McConnell said someone in a white truck hit the woman's vehicle from behind at a high rate of speed, which caused the victim to go over the median and hit a truck that was hauling a trailer.
