QUUEN CREEK, AZ (AZFamily) — More than 300 people packed a Queen Creek movie theater to watch the documentary Can’t Look Away: The Case Against Social Media.

The documentary follows the Social Media Victims Law Center attorneys and five families they’re representing. Those families, including Amy Neville’s, lost a child and are suing major social media companies.

“This has been just over five years ago. It feels like yesterday and an eternity,” said Neville.

Neville used to live in Queen Creek and Mesa. On Thursday night, her former neighbors watched her son’s story.

Neville said her son, 14-year-old Alex, found a drug dealer on Snapchat and bought a pill. Days after he took it, Neville said Alex told her what he took. But before they could get him help, he died.
