A second person has been arrested and charged in the shooting death of 21-year-old international student Harsimrat Randhawa, an innocent bystander, Hamilton police say.
Obiesea Okafor, 26, was located in North York on Thursday, police said in a news release Friday morning.
Okafor was transported back to Hamilton and has now been charged with three counts of attempted murder, reads the release.
Randhawa, from India, died in hospital of a gunshot wound after she was hit by a stray bullet while standing near a bus stop at the intersection of Upper James Street and South Bend Road on April 17. She'd just gotten off the bus and was waiting to cross the street when she was struck.
