LAMAR, Texas — Some big dreams are coming true for a group of young baseball players out of Fort Bend County.
The Lamar Little League team is heading to the Little League World Series, representing Texas on an international stage. As they head out for the big games, they’re carrying the hopes of their hometown and the memories of a summer spent chasing greatness.
This is the first time since 2004 that Lamar's team is heading to the Little League World Series. These kids aren't just playing for a title, they're playing for every practice, every long day in the heat, and every childhood dream that brought them to where they are.
